Guitar

The Nevada Music Educators Association is excited to announce the addition of guitar to the All-State Festival! The Guitar All-State ensemble is for high school students only. Students who play guitar will be able to audition for this new ensemble for the Virtual All-State Festival 2021!

Upon further review of NMEA’s policy on the requirement of proof of COVID-19 vaccination status, the board has made the decision to keep our current policy in place.  This requires that all participants involved in All-State to be fully vaccinated by March 1st for participation in the 2022 Nevada All-State conference with no exemptions granted.  Due to our inability to predict how the pandemic will progress during the coming months, as well as our inability to guarantee testing availability and results, we believe that this is the safest way to provide an in-person event to which participants will be traveling from across the state of Nevada.  The Nevada Music Educators Association has adopted this policy on mandatory vaccination to safeguard the health of our students and members from the hazard of COVID-19.
