Upon further review of NMEA’s policy on the requirement of proof of COVID-19 vaccination status, the board has made the decision to keep our current policy in place. This requires that all participants involved in All-State to be fully vaccinated by March 1st for participation in the 2022 Nevada All-State conference with no exemptions granted.  Due to our inability to predict how the pandemic will progress during the coming months, as well as our inability to guarantee testing availability and results, we believe that this is the safest way to provide an in-person event to which participants will be traveling from across the state of Nevada.  The Nevada Music Educators Association has adopted this policy on mandatory vaccination to safeguard the health of our students and members from the hazard of COVID-19.

The All-State Festival 2022 will be in Reno, NV April 7 – 9. Students will work with guest clinicians from around the US at the University of Nevada, Reno with a final performance at the Pioneer Center.

NMEA is excited to be back in person. Audition and registration information is forth coming as well as other protocols to keep everyone safe. Details will be posted below as they come out.

Blocked hotel rooms will also be available at a lowered rate. When that information is available, it will be posted on this page.

Full vaccination is require by all participants at the All-State Festival 2022. Students must have received their first dose prior to their audition and had their second by the end of March. NMEA’s full position statement can be found below.
